my entry for the contest The Control Of Nature - 2D Section Its Art Mag

Title: The making of lightnings

Description: In search for new energy sources, man gets bolder and bolder; the machine replicates a min-storm, control the power of the weather, one of natures forces with the aim to harvest the energy of lightings. Almost like a magician the scientist gazes upon his achievement.

The amount of energy used to jumpstart the storm is enormous, so this machine works on nuclear energy to generate the initial storm, once it starts the storm, the storm is kept in motion by electro magnets, using a very small part of the energy harvested, making it almost self sustained.
I tried to portrait the scientist like some king of fortune teller, looking at the future of mankind in his magic orb.

Science is the new religion of our days, and we put ourselves in the hands of science, as science becomes more and more complicated sometimes it looks almost like magic, and what you can’t explain becomes something unreal, maybe that’s one of the reasons why people trust so much In science, when sometimes they know so little about what is going on.

Not to sound too much like an advertising wizard, but you should considering changing the name to something REALLY cliched. Like, "Mad Scientist" or "Einstein's Invention" and then write all the nerd based slang you can think of into the tag line box.

I was looking for this type of picture for our weird science folder a week ago. I didn't see yours come up, and with over 200 faves it should have been near the top had any of the tags matched.
